Norway – Due to the impact of Europe’s record high natural gas prices on ammonia production margins, Yara is limiting production at a number of its units.
By next week, Yara will have reduced almost 40% of its European ammonia production capacity, including optimization of ongoing maintenance.
Yara will continue to evaluate the situation, with the goal of maintaining customer supply while reducing output as necessary.
