China – Domo Chemicals, a world leader in technical polyamide materials, is opening a new plant in Haiyan, China. With the new plant, Domo is responding to the increasing demand for solutions based on its TECHNYL polyamides in the Chinese market.
With the €14 million investment, the company is doubling its capacity in China in stages from 25,000 tons of TECHNYL polyamides to 50,000 tons. The plant covers an area of 40,000 square meters. Domo provides polyamide materials and services to industries such as automotive, electronics, energy, industrial and consumer goods.
Since 2016, Domo Chemicals has experienced robust growth in China, marked by a series of capacity expansions at the Jiaxing plant. Thanks in part to a 20% increase in annual sales volumes, the latest expansion efforts have resulted in the construction of the new plant in Haiyan.
