Vopak sells Rotterdam chemical terminals to Infracapital

The Netherlands – The sale of Vopak’s three chemical terminals in Rotterdam (Botlek, TTR, and Chemiehaven) has been agreed upon with Infracapital for a sum totaling EUR 407 million, including a conditional deferred payment of EUR 19.5 million.

At closure, there will be about EUR 368 million in total projected cash receipts, net of transaction costs and net debt items. This divestiture comes after the strategic evaluation that was revealed on February 15, 2023. The three terminals’ combined operational capacity is 1.4 million cbm.

The deal is scheduled to close before the end of the year, subject to discussions with the works council and normal closing conditions.
