Vestas wins 297 MW order in Canada

Canda – Vestas has been awarded a 297 MW wind turbine order in Canada for an unidentified wind project. This order includes 45 V150-4.5 MW turbines and 22 V150-4.2 MW turbines operating at 4.3 MW.

The contract covers the delivery, transportation, and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a 25-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement to assure the asset’s optimal performance.

The third quarter of 2022 will see the start of turbine deliveries, with commissioning expected for the fourth quarter of 2023. The customer and project are being kept confidential.
