Finland – Vestas will provide EnVentus turbines to the 102 MW Närpiö Norrskogen project, being developed by EPV Energy in western Finland.
Vestas will supply, install, and commission 17 V162-6.0MW turbines for the project, which will be located at Närpiö, near Vaasa on Finland’s west coast. The order brings the total number of orders for the EnVentus platform to more than 3 GW, with about 1.3 GW of those orders placed in Finland.
Delivery in 2022
Vestas will provide service at Närpiö Norrskogen through a more than 30-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, ensuring power performance assurance and Vestas’ industry-leading service competence throughout the project’s lifetime.
Turbine deliveries are expected in the second quarter of 2022, with full commissioning of the project expected by the end of 2022.
