United KingdomNorfolk Boreas Offshore Wind Farm has received planning permission from the UK Government.

Located in Vattenfall’s proposed Norfolk Zone, the project is expected to supply the annual electricity needs of approximately two million UK residences.

Vattenfall’s Norfolk Zone will include Norfolk Boreas and its sister project, Norfolk Vanguard, which is still awaiting a decision on its own consent.

Vattenfall is also anticipating a decision on Norfolk Vanguard before the next CfD Allocation Round in the UK. In order to make final investment decisions on the two projects, the CfD process must succeed.
