United States – TransAlta Corporation has awarded Vestas a 301 MW order to power two wind projects in Oklahoma, USA,White Rock East and White Rock West.
White Rock East will receive 33 V162-6.0 MW turbines and one V136-3.45 MW turbine, while White Rock West will receive 16 V162-6.0 MW turbines and one V136-3.45 MW turbine.
Both orders include the supply and commissioning of turbines, as well as a 15-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement to ensure the asset’s optimal performance.
Both projects’ turbine deliveries will begin in the fourth quarter of 2022, with commissioning scheduled for the third quarter of 2023.
