France/India – Schneider Electric, a pioneer in the digital transformation of energy management and industrial automation, and HCLTech are working together to provide carbon-efficient solutions for data centers in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
HCLTech’s Senior Vice President and Head of APAC Sustainability, Tan Boon Hien, stated that “Assessing risk and responsibility, we will integrate HCLTech’s best practices in information technology (IT) with Schneider Electric’s operational technology (OT) to develop solutions that significantly help improve efficiency, productivity, and modernization of data centers, reducing the overall carbon footprint.”

In order to improve their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) scores, businesses all over the world are investing in sustainability programs. Optimizing the whole data center supply chain is difficult due to siloed IT and OT processes. Together, HCLTech and Schneider Electric will research sustainability breakthroughs, develop convergent IT-OT solutions, and assist clients in adhering to legal requirements so that decarbonization initiatives can move more quickly in the APAC area.
