The Netherlands – Following a first fruitful cooperative pilot project, Angara Global and Mourik Industrial B.V. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to quicken the adoption of Angara’s technology in Europe.
Under the auspices of the DecarbonX Program, Mourik and Angara are dedicated to working together to accelerate decarbonization by offering clients cutting-edge professional maintenance of heat exchange equipment that enables optimal heat transfer, lowers costs, increases workforce safety, and reduces CO2 emissions.
Enabling decarbonization
By providing a novel, AI-enabled dynamic fouling removal strategy, Angara’s proprietary portfolio of solutions enables highly emitting businesses, including refineries, to significantly decarbonize. This technology enhances the services that Mourik provides to its current and potential customers and highlights its commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Successful European project
Angara and Mourik recently worked together to complete a project for a sizable European refinery, and the outcomes were quite positive. The project was performed 100% safely, and the estimated yearly savings across 10 heat exchangers were Euro 3.0M and 10kt of CO2. An effective collaboration between Europe and the United States has now been established. Technology from ANGARA has been assessed by DNV GL and given a Technological Readiness Level (TRL) of 8+.
