We watched the Dutch cabinet’s press conference again with trepidation last Friday. New measures form a new challenge, but we are glad it is still possible to organize EIES2021 both physically and online. The advantage of the conference centre of Rotterdam Ahoy is that it offers sufficient space to implement the latest measures without detracting from the quality of the content of the program. After all, together with our partners we have yet another inspiring and activating event lined up for December 7th and 8th.
In order to allow our guests to attend the summit as safely as possible, we are using two larger congress rooms in which there is sufficient space to keep 1.5 metres distance. It goes without saying that we will check our guests’ CoronaCheck QR codes upon entry. In addition, we ask everyone to wear a face mask when moving around the building. Also new is the mandatory end time of 17.00h. We therefore ask everyone to go home as soon as possible after the conference has ended.
Of course, all these measures do not apply to the online broadcast of the European Industry & Energy Summit. You can register for free and choose for yourself which break outs or side events you want to attend.
