The Port of Amsterdam and the City of Amsterdam have great ambitions when it comes to making the port and industry more sustainable. From 2050 the port of Amsterdam should be a fully sustainable energy and fuel cluster with green hydrogen, biofuels, capture, storage and reuse of CO2 and synthetic fuels. How do they approach this and what steps will be taken the coming years?
On 9 December from 10.00 to 11.00 A.M. these parties will organize a “living room discussion” about the synergy between the Municipal Port Vision and the Strategic Plan 2021 – 2025 of the Port of Amsterdam with Eduard de Visser (Director Strategy and Innovation, Port of Amsterdam), Annelies Soede (Account holder Port, City of Amsterdam) and Jaap Kersten (program manager Sustainability Port and Industry, City of Amsterdam).
