Italy – Vestas has won new contracts in Italy, the majority of which are in Sicily, with one in Apulia.
ERG has placed a 97 MW order for the repowering of the existing Camporeale project in Sicily, as well as the new Roccapalumba wind park. The contract covers the supply and installation of 12 V117-4.2 MW wind turbines for the 50 MW Camporeale wind park, as well as 13 V117-3.45 MW wind turbines for the 47 MW Roccapalumba project, both in 3.6 MW power optimized mode.
A multi-year Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement is also included in the contract, which includes wind turbine maintenance. Turbine delivery is expected in the first quarter of 2023 for both projects, with commissioning following in the second quarter.

In addition, A2A has signed an agreement with Vestas for the supply and installation of three V136-4.2 MW wind turbines in 4.0 MW operating mode and five V136-3.45 MW turbines in 3.6 MW power optimized mode for the Matarocco greenfield wind park in Sicily through its subsidiary r2r.
The contract also includes a 10-year Active Output Management (AOM) 4000 agreement with Vestas for the wind park’s maintenance and service. The turbines will be delivered in the first quarter of 2023, with commissioning following in the second quarter.
Furthermore, Inergia Spa. has placed a 25-megawatt order for the Ascoli Satriano and Cerignola wind parks in Apulia, Italy. The contract covers the supply and installation of six V136-4.2 MW wind turbines, as well as a 14-year Active Output Management (AOM) 4000 agreement for wind park maintenance and service.
The turbine will be delivered and commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2022.
