ReneSola Power – Eiffel JV buys 200 MW solar portfolio across Europe

Europe European Solar Energy Development JV, a joint venture firm formed by ReneSola Power and Eiffel Investment Group, has completed the acquisition of its first batch of 200MW solar projects in different European countries.

Spain, France, and Poland are among the countries involved. Eiffel contributed capital to the development of those projects.

ReneSola Power and Eiffel formed European Solar Energy Development JV in May 2021, a 51/49 joint venture business with ReneSola Power owning 51 percent and Eiffel owning 49 percent. In the following three years, the joint venture business plans to create up to 700 MW of solar projects across Europe.

Yumin Liu, ReneSola Power Chief Executive Officer, said, “I am very pleased with the progress the joint venture company is making. Additionally, the joint venture aligns with our growth strategy, enabling us to accelerate our project development activities across Europe. We are positive on our pipeline of project opportunities in front of us.”
