Germany – The Nordex Group has obtained orders from France again. The French subsidiary of RWE, RWE Renouvelables France, has purchased 10 N117 turbines for two wind farms with a combined capacity of 33 MW.
Both Northern French projects are included in Nordex Group’s sale to RWE in November 2020 of the European wind and solar power production sector.
For the 18 MW Les Hauts Bouleaux onshore wind farm in the Oise department, Nordex Group supplies six N117/3000 turbines with tubular steel towers with hub heights of 76 meters. In the Pas-de-Calais Department, the 15MW Martinpuich wind farm will be fitted with four 91-meter hub height N117/3600 turbines delivered in 3,675 MW of operating mode. The turbines will begin construction in the current year and turbines are expected to be commissioned at both wind farms at the beginning of 2022.
