Poland – EDP Renewables has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) for 51 percent (35.7 MW) of a wind farm in Poland with NSG UK Enterprises, a subsidiary of the NSG Group.
The PPA was signed for a period of ten years, beginning on January 1, 2022. The already operational wind farm has a total installed capacity of 70 MW.
Miguel Stilwell d’Andrade, EDPR and EDP Group CEO, states: “We are pleased to have closed this PPA with NSG UK, as part of its ambition to expand the use of green energy in the development of its business.”
By signing this PPA, EDPR will receive an EcoVadis sustainability Scorecard within six months of the contract’s signing, which will be kept for the duration of the agreement.
