Finland – Ilmatar Energy Oy has placed a new 135 MW order with Vestas for four projects in Finland.
Following a 221 MW order for a different Finnish wind farm in June of last year, this order marks the continuation of a long-standing partnership with Ilmatar Energy.
EnVentus
The contract calls for the delivery of V162-6.2 MW and V150-4.2 MW wind turbines in a variety of operating modes for the four projects, as well as their installation and commissioning. It also includes a 30-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement for the fourth project site and a 35-year AOM 5000 service agreement for the three EnVentus projects.
Deliveries and installation at the four locations should start in the second quarter of 2023, and commissioning should happen in the third.
