Germany – Vos Prodect will be the Cable Hang-Off supplier for the Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm TKF cable project.
Vos Prodect will provide all Cable Hang-Off Systems for the Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea (Germany), adjacent to Rügen Island. Specifically for this project, a tailored load test program has been developed and will be implemented at Vos Prodect’s Klazienaveen plant. In this comprehensive test procedure, TKF cables and Vos Prodect systems were evaluated together to verify interoperability.
Reducing emissions
By the end of 2024, Baltic Eagle will have a total capacity of 475,000 houses while preventing the emission of roughly 1 million tons of CO2 yearly. The contract for the transport and installation of the complete project has been granted to Van Oord.
Vos Prodect is required to supply Cable Hang-Off Systems by the end of the third quarter of 2022. It is anticipated that the project will be fully operational by the end of 2024.
