France – IVECO, a subsidiary of CNH Industrial, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Air Liquide to make clean mobility a reality.
This includes Air Liquide’s extensive experience in the entire hydrogen value chain, from production to distribution, as well as IVECO’s long history in providing cutting-edge, environmentally friendly transportation options.
Fuel cell electric long-haul trucks and hydrogen refueling stations will be studied by both partners, with the goal of determining how to best implement the rollout and deployment of these vehicles. They will work together to encourage hydrogen mobility by involving all stakeholders along the entire value chain in their joint initiatives.
The companies’ ongoing collaboration in the HyAMMED project in the South of France (Hydrogène à Aix-Marseille pour une Mobilité Écologique et Durable), to develop the first European fleet of fuel-cell electric 44-ton trucks and the first high-pressure 1 tonne/day hydrogen refueling station, is the basis of this partnership.
