The new pilot plant is outfitted with the newest data collecting and sensor technologies to boost innovation capabilities for its superabsorbent polymer industry and expedite the process of scaling up from product development to production scale. The new pilot plant’s procedures, along with its close proximity to BASF’s superabsorbent production facility in Antwerp, will reduce time-to-market.
