The Netherlands – In late 2022, energy company RWE won the tender to build offshore wind farm Hollandse Kust VII. Important spearhead in the tender was the systems approach. The company also figured out what it will do with the electrons. For example, building a huge green hydrogen plant on the site of RWE’s power plant in Eemshaven. An energy and resource hub will be created there over the next ten years. Watch the vlog.
