Circular economy

United States – Wood, a British multinational engineering and consulting business, has secured a new contract to provide engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services for Igneo Technologies’ new e-waste metals recovery facility in Savannah, Georgia.

Igneo Technologies, a leader in the processing of electronic waste, offers a sustainable method for recovering metals from e-waste by removing reusable metal components to produce concentrates of copper, gold, silver, and palladium that are shipped to metal smelting businesses all over the world.

As balance of plant engineer and construction manager, Wood will be crucial to the development of this cutting-edge facility, which will have the ability to process 200,000 metric tonnes of electronic waste annually.
