Bilfinger extends maintenance deal at Shell Chemicals Park Moerdijk

Chemcycling

The Netherlands – A new maintenance agreement between Bilfinger and Shell Chemicals Park Moerdijk has been inked. For the following five years, Bilfinger will continue to handle projects, turnarounds, and maintenance.

Also, the business participates in the Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) initiative.

By collaborating to enhance maintenance procedures and boost efficiency, it is hoped to strengthen Shell Chemicals Park Moerdijk’s competitive position. The corrosion protection program significantly aids in attaining this objective.

In this connection, Bilfinger offers scaffolding, insulation, steam tracing, radiation, painting, and the lifting of pipelines as well as other services. By pooling its expertise across a variety of crafts, the industrial service provider is able to provide the full process from a single source.

Europe’s biggest

One of the biggest chemical complexes in Europe is owned by Shell and produces petroleum-based chemicals. During the next ten years, Shell Chemicals Park Moerdijk intends to invest billions in the transition to green energy. Since it was developed more than fifty years ago, Bilfinger has provided maintenance and turnaround services for the Shell complex.
